Topic: How resilient are you?

The meeting will include:

  • Quick feedback from those that attended the recent and very successful BCI Summit in Sydney.
  • Ken McWilliams from Plan-B will provide an outline of DR Services available as a precursor to a possible site visit in the future
  • Our ‘main event’ will be a presentation from Bruce Pepperell, the Regional Manager/Group Controller for the Wellington Region Emergency Management Office (WREMO), who will discuss resilience in the context of the weather event on Thursday 14 May leading to road closures, cancellation of Public Transport and flooding as well as the GNS Science announcement of their Megathrust Earthquake assessment for Wellington.
  • Networking opportunity
Meeting Intention:
We hope this agenda provides a range of topical discussion points to encourage your attendance so don’t miss the opportunity to engage with other practitioners in this vital area of Business Continuity Management.

We hope to see you there.
