Topic: “Business Continuity: Resilience in the 21st Century”
Business continuity addresses the capability of an organisation to continue delivery of products or services at acceptable pre-defined levels following a disruptive incident.
Recent events such as the State wide power outage and storms in South Australia in 2016 have shown how vulnerable organisations can be.
The panel will outline lessons learned from these types of events to provide practical insight into how business continuity can help build organisational resilience to meet the challenges faced.

Speakers: Michael Keen, DXC Technology, Amardeep Singh, DXC Technology, Brian Holecek, Central Adelaide Local Health Network.
Michael Keen (MBCI) is a BCM consultant at DXC Technology responsible for Business Continuity and IT Service Continuity Management (or DR) service delivery to clients within the Asia Pacific and Japan region.
Amardeep Singh currently works as a BC Consultant at DXC Technology assisting organizations with their BC and Disaster Recovery (DR) programs, working with business and technical teams to build organizational resilience.
Brian Holecek CEM® MAIES, is currently the Principal Officer Emergency Management and Business Continuity for Central Adelaide Local Health Network in Adelaide. Brian been is a member of BCI since 2010.
